Statement on COVID-19 Preventive Action Plan
As it has always been, the safety and security of our guests and staff remain our highest priority.
We have been closely monitoring the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Mexican Department of Health statements regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in Mexico.
On a daily basis, our hotel is working to ensure that they meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning. Our hotel health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest room and common area cleaning procedures.

Our staff are receiving ongoing briefings and enhanced operating protocols. Their health, safety, and knowledge are essential to an effective cleaning program. Here are some ways we’re supporting them:
Proper and frequent handwashing is vital to help combat the spread of viruses. In our daily meetings, our teams are reminded that cleanliness starts with this simple act. It’s important for their health and that of our guests.
In addition to training on housekeeping and hygiene protocols, hotel associates are also completing enhanced COVID-19 awareness training.

All our Ocean view units now are separated by a rolled bamboo fencing that gives more privacy to our guests.
We use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch ítems. Pens, note pads and information material are removed from rooms
We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, with a focus on the counter at the front desk, door handles, public bathrooms.
Back of House:
In the spaces where the staff work “behind the scenes,” we are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas like entrances, locker rooms, and staff offices.
Hand alcohol stations are available by our restaurant, tables and chairs in are cleaned at a much higher frequency, and after each seating. items such as menus, salt & pepper shakers and center table decors are removed from our tables. Salt, pepper and sauces are served in individual packets.
We have limited the numbers of seats in our restaurant and public áreas.
You will find distancing floor markers in our reception, restaurants and public bathrooms, as well as signs reminding our guests and team members to keep a distance.
